Oh my poor little taste buds are about to go wild ---'cause I'm about to wake 'em up and rock their world! I hereby resolve to moo--ve to noosa world! I'm gonna try every single flavor noosa and their little worker bees and happy cows produce. I've been buying store brand yogurt ---but no more! I'm longing for the smooth, velvety texture of noosa yoghurt ---the creamiest whole milk ingredients, fresh fruit and wildflower honey ---and oh yes --- I'm wanting every single one of those 45 wild blueberries! Santa caught the virus in 2021.

Sick for days he stayed in bed.

All his work was left undone

and the reindeer left unfed

There were no elves in the work shop

to make the childrens' toys & games

With no one left in charge

the elves just played and sang

It was getting close to Christmas

The elves were being bad

All the reindeer got away

and Mrs. Clause was very sad

Poor Santa had a fever

that made him toss and turn

Mrs. clause then fetched the doctor

and meds to make him strong

Santa recovered from the Covid

and took a look around -----

The naughty elves were hiding

and the reindeer nowhere found

Mrs. Claus searched for the elves

and put them back to work that day

She told them they had to hurry -----

or none of them would get paid

Santa remembered the fast deer

that helped him last Christmas day ---

so off he went to find them

in the Norrod woods --- posthaste

Santa went on a Deer Hunt -----no time left to waste

But the Deer had all vanished without leaving him a trace

Santa needs some helpers collecting Deer from this place

Would you please help Santa find these Deer posthaste?

The Elf on a Shelf --- he doesn't make a sound

but he has a simple message of where the deer abound

He is nearby watching -----just waiting around

to give you the first clue of where the Deer are found.

Happy Christmas

My dream wish is to screen in and cover my back deck to provide a safe, close sanctuary for my sweet cats. My Aunt and Uncle both died during Covid, leaving behind their 4 cats. My Aunt's dying wish was to keep these sweet cats together. I'm trying to do that. I love these gentle fellows. They do indeed need to stay together. If screened and covered, my deck would be a lifesaver for them. Dogs often roam loose in our neighborhood, so I need this wish to keep them safe and close. Caring for them brings me great joy.

SANTA 2023

Santa and his reindeer

were finished with their flight

returning to the North Pole

on Christmas eve -----late night.

The reindeer all were tired

and began to bob and weave

while Santa propped his feet up ---

and quickly fell asleep.

There came a clang and clatter

A bolt worked loose down under

A screech, a whang a clank ---

as the sleigh was torn asunder.

The Jolly Elf tumbled quickly

then caught by Dancer in dive.

Falling towards the woods below ---

both landed in a long gravel drive.

Down crashed all the reindeer

scattered oddly to and fro

scrambling to their feet ---

and shaking off the snow

In streams, puddles and poison vine

across the woods in Tennessee ---

In bits and pieces of wood and metal

the sleigh crashed in scattered debris

Santa stood wobbly and trembled

The reindeer gathered and cried

but Santa said no worries ---

to the nearest house they'd stride.

On the porch the reindeer waited

with Santa winded at their side

Dasher knocked and Santa trembled

The Norrods invited them inside.

I need your help to keep my promise

I made to Mrs. Claus ---my wife

to get home safe and sound

so she can get some sleep tonight

The reindeer will all help me

find the parts to my broken sleigh

But they will then be too tired

to take me safely on my way.

I need a new crew to pull us ---

my sleigh and team and me.

Find eight new deer and a spare

but first some hay and milk and tea.

The Norrods all hugged Santa

and pledged to help him on his way

Dad grabbed his drill and hammer

Mom fetched the drinks and hay

Noah and Emma started searching

for nine deer willing to fly

All were hiding and being lazy

None were willing to even try.

They would all need some coaxing

to harness up and learn to fly

Not used to work and mostly spoiled

None were brave ----and most were shy

The Elf on the Shelf is a wise one

He heard every word --who knew?

Reuben Shiloh Pedde, 32, charged with attempted aggravated robbery, burglary and attempted theft less than $500, pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal trespass and received an 11-month and 29-day suspended sentence to be served on probation. Remaining charges were dropped.

SSG Ralph A Pedde sr passed on March 21,2010 @ the age of 60. Mr. Pedde was born in Detroit,Mi. on Aug. 15,1949. The son of Reinold and Nancy (Hollingsworth) Pedde. Retired Army/National Guard. He served in the Vietnam war and in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was the loving husband of DonnaJean Pedde. His survivors include sons, Ralph A. Pedde 2nd (Tracy Pedde), Reinold D. Pedde (Lynell Hicks), Reuben S. Pedde (Athena) and Ranusis E. Pedde ( Deanna) all of Crossville, TN. Brothers, Daniel, Ward and Carey. Sisters, Nora Pedde, Gloria Haynes and Wendy Broyles and 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren .

Mr Pedde is buried in the TN State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.

On October 20, 2025, Deputy Holden Atkinson and Deputy Charles of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotics investigation at Short Road in Crossville. After the homeowner granted permission to search the residence, Deputy Charles discovered a small plastic baggie containing a white crystal-like substance in the bathroom, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Three individuals were detained from the bathroom and escorted outside for questioning.

One of them, identified as 48-year-old Reuben Shiloh Pedde, fled on foot toward Cook Road and into a woodline despite verbal commands to stop. Deputy Atkinson pursued Pedde, issued multiple warnings, and ultimately deployed a taser, incapacitating him after two shots. Pedde resisted briefly but was taken into custody without injury and refused medical attention.

He was transported to jail and charged with evading arrest, resisting stop/arrest/search, and an outstanding child support warrant, with a total bond of $8,000 and court dates set for November 24, 2025, and January 7, 2026.
